In the past recent years, the world have became more advanced due to the advancement of technology and people around the world have the ability to read news from other countries on the Internet. However, the media in every country are not created equally with governments censoring the news organisations or journalist for the sake of keeping a good reputation of the government or the country.

An example of journalist being silenced is a blogger named Daphne Caruana Galizia from Malta who was blown up in her Peugeot 108. She was murdered for her investigation on the Panama Papers and Malta Prime Minister Joseph Muscat who have connection with an offshore companies.

The Panama Papers is large database leak consist of 11.5 million files worth of 2.6 terabytes of information stored on the internal data of the world's fourth biggest offshore law firm, Mossack Fonseca.

The information contains politicians including twelve national leaders such as Russia President Vladimir Putin; Parkistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif; son of former Egypt President Alaa Mubarak; ex-interim Prime Minister and former Vice President of Iraq, Ayad Allawi; Ukraine President, Petro Poroshenko; and Iceland Prime Minister, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson that exploit the secretive offshore tax regime.
