Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) was playing a match Liverpool Football Club (LFC) with the score of 1 - 1 at the end of the match.

LCFC Manager Claude Puel said the team suffered too much during the beginning of the game and having difficult time to recover the ball.

“It is a shame because we are having to chase the game all the time to get back. After, we showed fantastic character, personality and quality also. I think we suffered a little too much at the beginning, it was difficult to recover the ball," said Puel

Puel said it was the right moment for football player James Maddison help the team scored a goal before the half-time as he changed the tactics a little to recover the ball

“We changed the system a little to try to have more possibility to recover the ball and start better when we do. After, we had good chances with [James] Maddison and got a goal just before half-time. It was the right moment, of course," he said

LFC Manager Jürgen Klopp said it is not a surprise for both team to score a tie at the half-time and improve a few things during the second half

"It didn’t feel brilliant but it’s not the first time in our lives we had 1-1 at half-time. We tried to do a few good things again in the second half and improve a few other things," said Klopp

Klopp said it is alright for the team a tie during the second half as the opponent team was more confident and LFC have to defend and run to keep up.

"It was a much more open game then in the second half because Leicester were more confident and changed a few things.

"They had the ball more often, so we had to defend, we had to run, they had their situations and chances, especially after set-pieces. They had chances and so 1-1 is absolutely OK," said Klopp
